two + seven:What’s your creative process like?
Kelly Dooley: My creative process is as follows: I find a void, solve the problem, and then make it both cool and fashion-forward. Believe it or not, functionality always comes before fashion for us. We use dry-wicking fabrics for all of our products and the sports bras are incredibly technical. Our bras include everything from waterproof pockets, to power mesh and spacers for support, lockable side zippers, and other nifty compartments.
2+7: You work with both your brother and your mother. Working so close with family, do you all ever butt heads?
KD: We don’t butt heads in terms of our company vision. We are all on the same page. But we definitely have some problems from time to time, most having to do with our time zone difference of three hours. They are in California and I am in NYC, so that can be frustrating at times. Scheduling calls has proven to be the most effective way to solve this problem.

2+7: What’s your favorite, go-to bra to work out in?
KD: My favorite bra is most definitely The Sophie Bra from The Zip ‘em Up Collection. It’s amazingly chic, supportive, super versatile and creates killer cleavage. I rock The Sophie Bra with my favorite runnings shoes and my favorite stilettos, often on the same day!
2+7: What are your top BodyRock Must-Haves?
KD: Well…..
Top Five BodyRock Must-Haves:
1. Any bra from The Zip ‘em Up Collection. Easy on, easy off. Dress up, dress down. Zip ‘em Up, zip ‘em Off. Wear with sneakers and stilettos. Fashion and function to the umpteenth degree.
2. The Jessica Moto Leggings. Best leggings ever. Pleather moto knee, 2.5 inch waistband lays perfectly, ankle zippers. I live in these and wear them with practically everything!!!!
3. The Morning After Top: Billowy, cozy, sexy, sophisticated. No-brainer.
4 + 5. Venomous Vixen Moto Jackets: These are so cool. Super fashionable and and a bevy of cool features, like hidden pockets and ventilated underarms.
6. Luxe Capris: These capris are the PERFECT fit. The florals look incredible, are on trend and incredibly versatile. The hidden pocket is awesome too! Everyone that I have seen wearing these looks amazing in them. The tactel is incredibly soft! Love, love, love!

2+7: What’s next?
KD: My spring collection is off-the-charts! I designed this collection while in the midst of planning my Bastille Day wedding. The collection is based on love, music, and luxurious bridal fabrics. The prints include florals, diamonds, rubies, ripped fishnet and laces.
