In an industry where everyone is always talking about their unmentionables, it’s about time they actually got to know each other! Friend and Intimates Guru Moira Nelson is at the helm of the Lingerie Alliance, an online, members only community that unites the intimates world so that industry professionals can, well, get to know each other more intimately.
What is the Lingerie Alliance?
Moira Nelson and Luis Paredes, publisher of The Lingerie Journal, have partnered together to create The Lingerie Alliance. The Lingerie Alliance will be an online collaborative community of professionals in the intimate apparel industry and related fields. The site will feature a searchable directory of members (by area of expertise) as well as interactive LIVE forums, panel discussions, Q&A and chat sessions with industry experts and offline workshops, panels and seminars plus networking socials (Intimate Affairs.)
By Spring 2013, The Lingerie Alliance will be an exclusive members-only community. All members will pay a nominal annual fee to be a part of the collaborative community. Members will have access to the profiles of all other members, access to the live forums & chatrooms, resource pages, reduced registration fees for offline (physical) workshops, seminars & panel discussion, free admission to quarterly networking socials and more.

Did someone say party?!
On August 4th at the Griffin NYC, the Launch Party & Lingerie Fashion Show was held. We are really excited about our partnership and are confident that The Lingerie Alliance will elevate the lingerie community in very unique ways.
The Fashion Show featured upscale, independent, emerging lingerie brands. Guests, including brands, buyers, major retailers, boutique owners, manufacturers and other intimate apparel professionals as well as mainstream media/press and trade press to attended this event.

By Spring 2013, The Lingerie Alliance will be an exclusive members-only community. All members will pay a nominal annual fee to be a part of the collaborative community. Members will have access to the profiles of all other members, access to the live forums & chatrooms, resource pages, reduced registration fees for offline (physical) workshops, seminars & panel discussion, free admission to quarterly networking socials and more. There will be several tiers of membership. “Alliance Leaders” will be those companies or individuals who are “sponsoring” The Lingerie Alliance in the form of a larger monthly or annual membership fee. In exchange, they will be featured prominently on the home page of the site and on a specific page dedicated to “Alliance Leaders.”
