The Urban Gentleman

Atlanta to Dubai to London to Sydney to Stockholm to Tokyo to New York to __your city here__ — The Urban Gentleman, aka “The Urban Gent”, is one of the world’s top men’s fashion, style, and grooming blogs. Founded in mid 2008, The Urban Gentleman was created to fill the then obvious void of online resources for men’s fashion, style, and grooming.

What I Saw Today

What I saw Today. New York is an endless runway. Watching people is as compelling today as it was when I first moved here many years ago. My design eye is informed by working with some of the best in the business – Calvin Klein, Bill Blass, Perry Ellis and Sean Combs. They taught me how to look at fabric, shape, color. I’m taking that knowledge and combining it with my love of illustration to record what I see around me – the vital and always changing style of guys in New York – Richard Haines

The Style Blogger

I started thestyleblogger.com in March 2009 to share men’s style tips and answer frequently asked questions from friends and colleagues. Since then readership has grown dramatically, and I now have thousands of followers from all over the world - in large part due to being named Esquire magazine’s ”Best Dressed Real Man in America”. The experience has been both exciting and inspiring, and I am grateful for all the unexpected associations I have made along the way. – Dan Trepanier
